Research focus:

Our research focus is to identify molecular mechanisms and therapeutically targetable molecules involved in hydrocephalous and other secondary brain injury after germinal matrix hemorrhage (GMH). We are also exploring potentail biomarkers using samples from GMH and post-hemorrhagic hydrocephalous preterm infants admitted to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
