Research focus:
My interest of hydrocephalus stems from being a neonatologist and taking care of babies with intraventricular hemorrhage and PHH. My current research is to study a novel developmental mechanism of IVH in preterm babies by using iPSC derived choroid plexus brain organoids. This research will hopefully lead to novel therapeutics to decrease the incidence of this devastating disease.
