Research focus:

We are trying to understand how defects in glycosylation lead to development of hydrocephaly. We specifically are focused on understanding how hydrocephaly develops in mice that are unable to form a glucose-fucose disaccharde on a small subset of proteins that contain thrombospondin type 1 repeats.
