My lab published recently a paper in EMBO Mol Med where we reported the first pathophysiological mechanism for a gene-linked congenital hydrocephalus, the first imaging of contrast medium leakage from the choroid plexus into the ventricles, and the firs comparative proteomics of the CSF, as far as I know. We plan now to undertake transcriptomics in choroid plexus samples from hydrocephalus-harboring infants that were removed during surgery by a collaborating neurosurgery team.
