Research focus:
My research is focused on finding immunomodulatory mechanisms that enhance hematoma resolution after germinal matrix hemorrhage. More specifically, focus on microglia’s ability to remove blood clots from the neonatal brain in the short-term therefore attenuating post-hemorrhagic hydrocephalus in the long-term
