Cycle 2: NIA Program Project Applications (P01)

Award: The National Institute on Aging (NIA) invites the submission of investigator-initiated research program project (P01) applications addressing scientific areas relevant to NIA’s mission. Each application submitted to this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) must include at least three related research projects that share a common central theme, focus, and overall objective, in addition to an administrative core to lead the project. Revision applications should include expansion of an existing, or proposal of a new, project or projects within the context and theme of the parent P01 award. Revision applications may not request support beyond the end date of the parent P01 award, but may propose to expand existing cores, or propose new cores, to support the expansion or creation of new projects. The scope of the proposed project should determine the project period. The maximum project period is 5 years.
